Eolus Vind AB\nCompany Announcement\n\nEolus has been granted permit for the large wind power project Øyfjellet in\r\nNorway\n\nHässleholm, 2014-11-13 07:15 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- \r\n\r\nEolus has been granted permit for it´s so far largest onshore wind power\r\nproject. Project Øyfjellet in Norway comprising of 330 MW has been granted\r\npermit by NVE (Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate). \r\n\r\nThe permit for project Øyfjellet outside Mosjøen in Vefsn municipality in\r\nNordland County gives the possibility of installing turbines with an effect up\r\nto 330 MW, divided on 80-110 wind turbines depending on choice of turbines. The\r\nwind conditions at the site is very good with and estimated yearly production\r\nin a fully built park of about 1 TWh. \r\n\r\nØyfjellet is the first project Eolus has been granted permit for in Norway\r\nsince starting operations in the country in 2012 and is the largest in company\r\nhistory. \r\n-It is very exciting and important for our operations in Norway that we have\r\nbeen granted permit for Øyfjellet. The wind conditions at the site is very good\r\nand the project have strong local support says Per Witalisson, CEO of Eolus. \r\n\r\nThe project was started by local initiatives through ÖVP (Øyfjellet Vindpark\r\nAS). Eolus acquired the project through subsidiary Eolus Vind Norge AS in the\r\nsummer of 2012. The application for permit was submitted to NVE in January\r\n2014.
