The same year, our 100th wind turbine is installed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2006<\/strong> Eolus constructs its first wind turbines in Estonia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2009<\/strong> Eolus listed on Nasdaq OMX First North. The 200th wind turbine is completed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2011<\/strong> Eolus expands to Latvia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2012<\/strong> Per Witalisson appointed CEO of Eolus after working as CFO between 2006 and 2012. Eolus enters the US market and acquires two wind power projects in the state of Nevada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2017<\/strong>\u00a0The company\u2019s business concept is broadened to include not only wind power but also other forms of renewable electricity generation and energy storage. Eolus establishes its 500th turbine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2018<\/strong>\u00a0Eolus continues to expand in the US through the acquisition of an early-phase solar energy and battery storage project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2019<\/strong>\u00a0Construction start-up for the Wind Wall 1 repowering project in the US. Amazon Web Services, Inc signs a Power Purchase Agreement. Eolus now has operations in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and the US.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2020<\/strong> Eolus initiates construction of its largest project to date \u2013 the \u00d8yfjellet wind farm in Norway, with 72 turbines. In the same year, Eolus completes its 600th wind turbine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2021<\/strong> Eolus expands to Poland and completes first project in the US: Wind Wall, a repowering project in which 13 new wind turbines replaced nearly 400 old turbines while generating four times more electricity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2022<\/strong> Eolus divests a battery project with a capacity of 120 MW and a solar and battery project with a capacity of 750 MW in the US. The 42 turbine (260 MW) Stor-Sk\u00e4lsj\u00f6n project in Sweden is divested to MEAG and construction of the project starts together with the co-owner Hydro Rein.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>2023<\/strong> The \u00d8yfjellet project in Norway is completed and the Swedish Skallberget, Utterberget, Tj\u00e4rn\u00e4s and Rosenskog projects are divested to Swiss BKW. Eolus completes development of its first battery project, Cald, in Los Angeles, US, and makes investment decision for the 100 MW Pome battery storage project in San Diego, US. Eolus has now constructed more than 700 wind turbines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2024<\/strong> Eolus makes investment decision on the F\u00e5gel\u00e5s, D\u00e5llebo and Boarp wind projects. We presents a sustainability strategy for the period to 2040 and published a children\u2019s book about renewable energy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025<\/strong> Eolus divests the 100 MW Pome BESS project in San Diego, US and completes construction of the project by year-end. The company&#8217;s first green bonds are issued and Eolus Vind changes name to Eolus to reflect the full scope of the company&#8217;s international operations within renewable energy. The Pienava and Fager\u00e5sen projects are sold during the year.
