Social responsibility
For a long-term sustainable energy transition, we need to conduct business in a responsible manner. Trust, transparency, respect, empathy, and collaboration are core values in our culture and should permeate everything we stand for and everything we do.
The preferred actor in local communities by 2030
Eolus’s target is to be the preferred renewable energy actor in local communities by 2030.
Through initiatives such as community benefit funds, sponsorships, and support for local projects, Eolus contributes to community development throughout both the construction and operational phases. We also seek to work with local suppliers whenever possible, helping to create opportunities for businesses in the areas where we have projects.
Another important part of our approach is maintaining an early, open, and respectful dialogue with local residents and other stakeholders to foster understanding and build trust. We continuously develop and test new ways of engaging with communities through meetings, dialogue, and collaboration.
Human Rights
For Eolus, it is important that human rights are respected in all parts of our value chain. We support recognized international conventions on human rights and fair labor conditions and have zero tolerance for child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking.
Community Engagement
Since establishment of wind and solar projects cause a change in the local area, we need to have open and transparent dialogues with people who live and work in the area and find ways to contribute to local development.
Employees and Company Culture
Our dedicated employees are a valuable asset for Eolus, and drive the development of our projects. We want to be an attractive employer and therefore focus on knowledge, development and working environment.
Health and Safety
Our goal is that everyone working for the company should have a safe and healthy work environment. We have a zero-accident vision for both our own employees and for contractors and partners.
