About the Project
The project area is located approximately 6 km west of Lindesberg. Siggebohyttan is fully permitted for 12 wind turbines with a maximum total height of 220 meters. The project is dependent on the regional grid owner Vattenfall obtaining permission to construct a new power grid from the wind farm to the existing grid. The timeline for the wind farm is to start construction in 2026 with planned commissioning in 2028.
Once Siggebohyttan is established, the park can produce 244 GWh per year, which can be compared to the household electricity consumption of 48,000 villas.
