About the Project
In August 2018 Eolus completed the Jenåsen wind farm in Sundsvall municipality in northern Sweden. All conditions specified in the agreement between Eolus and MEAG, the asset manager for Munich Re, regarding the sale of the 79 MW wind farm, was fulfilled, and the buyer took possession of the facility.
In May 2017, Eolus entered into an agreement with MEAG for the sale of the Jenåsen wind farm, comprising 23 Vestas V126 3.45 MW wind turbines, to Munich Re. The transaction was announced through a press release on May 31, 2017.
Eolus provides technical and administrative services for the wind farm and all electricity produced by the wind farm is sold to Google through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
